Rival Gaming Withdraws From Canadia Market

Rival Gaming, one of the major players in online gaming, has decided to ban Canadian residents from their online casinos.  The change took effect on February 1st, 2025.  As of this date, Rival powered casinos were not permitted to accept any new Canadian patrons and were instructed to prohibit existing Canadian patrons from making deposits into their casino accounts or participating in any rival bonus offers or promotions.  The existing customers will have through the month of February to play at the casino and withdraw any remaining account balance. After February 28th, existing casino accounts for Canadian customers will not be accessible for play or to withdraw funds. 

This is certainly not good news for Canadian players as Rival casinos offer a unique brand of gaming, including the highly popular islot games that really set them apart from the competition.  Rival Casinos will continue to welcome US and other players, limiting the affects of the policy change to Canadian registered players only.  Perhaps as pending legislation in North America plays out on the political landscape, we will see changes in policy that overcome the challenges faced by players of that region, although its too soon to place any bets on it……we are hoping for a favorable outcome.
